I will overwhelm 'credible fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the two fighters met personally to publicize the upcoming bout.
Former two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a ÂŁ1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.

He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
